Laura McCafferty

While on my exhibition stand at Chelsea Crafts Fair 2005, I had the pleasure of meeting the late Dame Anita Roddick. She commissioned me then and there to do a piece of work on her daughter’s shop. I was deeply touched as such a successful business woman had chosen my work to commission. I visited the street on London and did some detective work. It felt very exciting as it was my first real commission. I worked on the piece and delivered it to Anita. She loved the work- I was chuffed.
