Laura McCafferty

I was commissioned to create a unique piece of artwork for a family; the piece was to be their wedding gift from friends and family. I travelled with them to France to one of their favourite places. I spent a couple of days following them around, observing and taking photographs. On my return I spent the next couple of months developing their piece. I made an intricate image detailing special buildings and shops and snippets from their few days. The piece, measuring 200x5cm was delivered to their home the night before their wedding. It was a very memorable project and I feel honoured to have been asked to undertake such a special commission.
