There was a man who really liked my work, but he had a colour blindness that made the colours in my pieces appear muddy and brown. As a surprise his son commissioned the piece to be made using colours that his dad liked. We wondered how we could envisage this- but solved it by visiting the tailor and getting offcuts of fabrics that his dad had previously chosen for his shirts.
