Fishseller, is directly inspired by a scene in Greece that I saw while on holiday. It was evening and the sun was setting over the harbour and this old man came in with his days catch. It continues with my ongoing theme of documenting the ordinary; in that its a fairly unremarkable scene but one that I needed to capture. It has a companion piece, Cornsellers, in which the ladies sell the corn in the evening. This piece is now with a private collector in America. A similar piece can be commissioned, this will be unique as the fabrics will differ slightly. Please email for price and further information.
