Japan Exhibition

Wednesday, 1st of March, 2006

Following the successful research trip to Japan, in 2006, Design Factory again took a selected group of makers, designers and artists to Tokyo for the second time where we spent 11 days and took part in an exhibition. Titled British Modern Craft, it ran from 15th-19th March 2007. The exhibition, organised in collaboration with The British Embassy showcased a collection of work by ten makers. The trip was supported by Arts Council England. The collection of work that I presented were pieces inspired by my time spent in Japan, on the trip in 2006; including Dare to be Different, Blossoms and Phone, A day in Tokyo with Mr Noguchi and Tokyo Taxi.
