I was selected to participate in The British Crafts in Japan Research Trip, organised by Design Factory, in collaboration with UKTI and Arts Council England. We travelled to Japan where we held an event at the British Ambassador’s residence. Architects, developers and buyers were invited and we spent the day showing them our work. From the trip I was deeply inspired and came home with a head full of ideas for new work. The most important piece was Dare to be Different, but other titles included A day in Tokyo with Mr Noguchi and Tokyo Taxi.
