As part of the Paint, Draw, Knit, Stitch exhibition at the Castle Museum, Nottingham- I ran the stitch workshop where I invited participants to view the work on display in the gallery, take inspiration from the imagery, then develop a 2D/3D piece using recycled textiles and embroidery thread. It was a lot to ask of the participants but the results were fantastic. I even managed to secure them a space in the gallery where they could hang their work alongside the likes of Artist, Freddie Robins, for the duration of the short exhibition.
