Ulster Museum, Belfast, Northern Ireland
Wednesday 10th March 2010, 13.00-14.00
As part of the University of Ulster’s Masterclass series 2010, I have kindly been invited to give a lecture about my work. The lecture is even more poignant as I studied at University of Ulster from 1999 to 2000, when I completed my Foundation in Art and Design. I have also been keen to introduce my work to a Northern Ireland audience as it is my country of birth. The talk held at in the newly refurbished Ulster Museum will be my first in Northern Ireland, having given many talks across England in the last six years. Through the lecture I will visually narrate my artistic journey, creative practice and give an in-depth insight into my work and background.
Tickets to this lecture are free, please email les.mclean@nmni.com quoting how many tickets you require. Les will respond to you to confirm if tickets are available. Once your tickets have been confirmed you can collect these from the Ulster Museum welcome desk on the day of the lecture.
This lecture is part of the 2009/10 Masterclasses in the Applied Art series which covers ceramics, silver and jewellery as well as textiles. University of Ulster in partnership with the Ulster Museum Lecture Series
