The Diana Springall Collection represents work from several decades of modern embroidery’s recent history that did not receive mainstream attention at the time of their creation. Today, they act as reminders of a number of individuals who chose, and have continued, to work with materials and ideas that communicate a range of emotions and themes. This exhibition and accompanying book, celebrate some of the very best of modern British embroidery.

Lady with flower stall, is part of this exciting and unique collection. A big thank you to Diana for all her effort, support and enthusiasm.
